Timberville woman arrested, charged as accessory to second-degree murder of Seth Wallace | Public Safety | dnronline.com

A second person was arrested in connection with the May murder of 22-year-old Waynesboro man Seth Wallace.

Kaylee Grace Turner, 21, of Timberville, was arrested in Waynesboro on Wednesday and charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in relation to the shooting of Wallace over Memorial Day weekend.

“All I can say is she was charged as an accessory to murder and aiding and abetting,” said Waynesboro Commonwealth’s Attorney David Ledbetter. “She was advised today, received a court-appointed attorney, and her next hearing date is Dec. 17.”

The primary suspect in the shooting, Dustin Allen Dove, 23, of McGaheysville, was arrested in Waynesboro in May. He was accused of shooting Wallace on May 25. Wallace died in the hospital from his injuries almost a month later, on June 12.

According to family friend Vicki Puckett, Dove was a former friend of Wallace’s.

Puckett, who said she was like an “adoptive mother” to Wallace, described Wallace’s lengthy hospital stay.

“He went through torture,” Puckett said. “He went through hell. Luckily, he was so out of it, I don’t think he realized the damage done to him.”

Puckett described Wallace as “well-dressed, well-spoken and polite."

“Seth was so loving,” Puckett said. “He was just the kind of person where everyone who met him loved him. From what he went through as a kid, to have that type of personality says a lot.”

Turner’s next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 17 at the Waynesboro General District Court. She is currently being held in custody at the Middle River Regional Jail in Verona without bond ahead of the hearing.
